You've just moved to Farethere City!

Why? Well, you don't seem to want to dwell on it too hard. You certainly remember who you are and where you're from - it's not as though you have amnesia or anything like that, of course not. You just don't really want to think about the events immediately leading up to your moving here for some reason.

That's not important anyway. What matters is that you've just moved in to a new town! It seems like there are a lot of other people besides you moving in today, too. There's a giant 'Welcome to Farethere City' banner hung up between two trees, and there's all kinds of food and drink on tables underneath, including plenty you've probably never seen before.

Now's a good chance to meet your neighbors and get yourself situated. Wander around town a little - check out the library, or figure out what on earth those mushroom-shaped doors at the far end of town are for. Or just pig out on the food - you did just unpack all your stuff today, no one will blame you for taking the chance to relax.

(Don't think too hard about the unboxing process. Or why there might be some things in your house that you don't remember buying.)

Your mayor is floating about greeting people. You'll properly get to meet him at some point, so be sure to ask him all the questions you have about your new home.

[There's a porpoise hopping around in a giant fish bowl. You'll probably hear her before you see her, though, given the sounds of crashing and increasingly distressed apologies as she bumps into things and knocks everything over.]

[As shaggy as this Sapsali dog is, it's hard to tell whether his eyes are open or not as he suns himself in front of the library.

If approached, however, he might wag his tail once and chuff politely.]

[It may be because of unpacking after the move, it may be because of all the excitement, and it may simply be that he's a lazy cat, but Simir is very tired. After eating his fill, the golden tabby falls asleep in the grass at the edge of the party.

Unfortunately, his catnap is interrupted by someone standing in just the wrong place. He opens one eye to peer up at the culprit, albeit in good humor.]

[Melia isn't one to lay back and rest when there's fun work to be done. So she's been bustling around, and already there's a sign in front of a formerly unused buildings announcing the grand opening of her bar. For now the accommodations'll be relatively bare (there're only packing boxes for seats), but she's already got a delicious looking spread on offer, with wooden platters full of plant based meals and what looks like wooden mugs full of wine and other fruit-based drinks. All of it stuff she had grown right on the spot with her power over plants.]

[A young woman with violet hair is aimlessly wandering the welcoming party and the town to an extent, finding out where everything is. She looks mostly human... mostly. Except her skin is slightly iridescent and she sports a pair of dragonfly-like wings on her back.

Aside from that she's pretty average looking.
