You've just moved to Farethere City!

Why? Well, you don't seem to want to dwell on it too hard. You certainly remember who you are and where you're from - it's not as though you have amnesia or anything like that, of course not. You just don't really want to think about the events immediately leading up to your moving here for some reason.

That's not important anyway. What matters is that you've just moved in to a new town! It seems like there are a lot of other people besides you moving in today, too. There's a giant 'Welcome to Farethere City' banner hung up between two trees, and there's all kinds of food and drink on tables underneath, including plenty you've probably never seen before.

Now's a good chance to meet your neighbors and get yourself situated. Wander around town a little - check out the library, or figure out what on earth those mushroom-shaped doors at the far end of town are for. Or just pig out on the food - you did just unpack all your stuff today, no one will blame you for taking the chance to relax.

(Don't think too hard about the unboxing process. Or why there might be some things in your house that you don't remember buying.)

Your mayor is floating about greeting people. You'll properly get to meet him at some point, so be sure to ask him all the questions you have about your new home.

I did. It was very good, though I'm not sure I could identify all of it...

It's kind of you to introduce yourself in person to your constituents like this. Is that common practice here?

More or less! The big party isn't traditional, but we also usually only have one person moving in at a time.

I usually at least try to stop by and say hello, help people settle in~

It's quite the thoughtful practice, as a city official.

Any idea why so many chose to move here now? It's a curious coincidence.

Who knows? We had a lot of properties open up at once, so maybe that was it?

[People move in when there's space in the real world, right?]

[He finally sits up and shakes himself, then offers a paw to shake.]

[Michibiki frees a hand from under his long sleeves in order to give a shake.]

Of course! I did want to ask - what do you think you'll be doing with yourself?

[You can't sit on library steps all day, as fun as that is. People aren't at peace without 'something to do'.]

[Pawshake get! Eun returns to sitting politely. How does a sheepdog look so elegant?]

Ah, that...I haven't decided yet, honestly.

[He chuckles quietly, faintly wistful.]

I used to be a photographer, but... [Eun trails off, then shakes his head.] Well, I have some experience with organizing non-profit work, too, and my financial situation is stable enough that I have some time to think on it.

[Michibiki lets his sleeves fall back over his hands.]

Of course, no rush! I just wouldn't want you to be bored here.

I'm sure I won't. For now, I'm happy to explore my new home and enjoy the sunshine.

[Oh. One floppy ear perks slightly and he tilts his head.]

Do you know of any good nature trails nearby, by the way? It would have to be in walking distance...
