You've just moved to Farethere City!

Why? Well, you don't seem to want to dwell on it too hard. You certainly remember who you are and where you're from - it's not as though you have amnesia or anything like that, of course not. You just don't really want to think about the events immediately leading up to your moving here for some reason.

That's not important anyway. What matters is that you've just moved in to a new town! It seems like there are a lot of other people besides you moving in today, too. There's a giant 'Welcome to Farethere City' banner hung up between two trees, and there's all kinds of food and drink on tables underneath, including plenty you've probably never seen before.

Now's a good chance to meet your neighbors and get yourself situated. Wander around town a little - check out the library, or figure out what on earth those mushroom-shaped doors at the far end of town are for. Or just pig out on the food - you did just unpack all your stuff today, no one will blame you for taking the chance to relax.

(Don't think too hard about the unboxing process. Or why there might be some things in your house that you don't remember buying.)

Your mayor is floating about greeting people. You'll properly get to meet him at some point, so be sure to ask him all the questions you have about your new home.

I suppose you're right, though as long as I'm comfortable, it doesn't really matter to me one way or another.

That's right, just moved here. Though I spent the time fixin' up a bar instead of unpackin'. I'll hafta do that tomorrow.

'S open today. I closed it to go out explorin', but I can open it again and serve you. Today's free. Consider it a sampler.

That's very generous of you. I wouldn't want to keep you from the others, though. Were you planning on opening back up for the public later today?

Aye, was plannin' on it. You can come then. I've a sampler spread in there. All of it produced by yours truly. I plan on gettin' in more stuff for makin' vittles. Such as meat. But that'll hafta wait.

I would imagine it's a chore all its own. But you may have plenty of time to balance things here, with how slow going things seem to be.

'S enjoyable enough. I like cookin' and brewin', and most of all for others. Nothin' like seein' a buncha enjoyin' your food.
